WALNUT FLOATING FRAMES - JOHANN SLEE
These large frames were some of the first I ever made. The frames measure about 1.8m x 1.6m, and are made from walnut.
TAPESTRY FRAMES - JOHANN SLEE
I did a series of pine floating shelves for artist Johann Slee. He then sent them to OKASIE Stellenbosch to get wrapped in these beautiful tapestries. The colours of the tapestries are matched to the painting within, and the texture adds a whole new dimension to the artwork.
THERMO-PINE FRAMES - VARIOUS
Frames made from a thermo treated pine. The wood was quite brittle and delicate to work with, but the end results are well worth the efforts.
PINE FRAME - TERRY DE VRIES
A giant floating frame made for a family friend. The previous frame had been destroyed by mites and the painting desperately needed a new frame.
THERMO-PINE - MORGAN MULHOLLAND
A thermo-pine framed I made for myself. The photograph is a very special gift from my friend Morgan. The photo is part of a series that raised quite a lot of money for charity.
