Chess Board
Nicholas - Stellenbosch, Western Cape. 2020.
I surprised my friend with a chessboard for his 21st birthday.
He had gotten the pieces a few years before and I knew I needed to make him a beautiful board to go along with them.
The board was made from off-cut pieces of Oak, Ash and Walnut. Finished with Danish oil.
